Travelling by bike

A regular South West Trains service runs to Esher on the London Waterloo to Basingstoke line, and takes approx. 25 minutes from London

When you arrive at Esher follow the signs to Sandown Park Horse Racing and go down the ramp at the end of the platform, instead of going out past the ticket hall; you will find a footpath that runs alongside the railway line

You'll end up on Lower Green Road by a railway bridge, go left and follow the perimeter fence around the race track, go up the hill on More Lane where you will find the rear entrance gates to Sandown Park / Sandown Active Sports, you will see the Freeborn banner on the fence

Take a right once through the entrance gates and go up the steep hill to the dry ski centre, you will see the roll-in tower for the Dirt Park and the Freeborn shop once you reach the top car park , next to the entrance to Esher Shore

Alternatively you can take a train to Hinchley Wood which is at the bottom of Esher village; or Surbiton and Kingston if you don't mind a longer ride (15-20 minutes) and are confident finding your way to Esher!

Travelling by car

For Motorists, we are within easy reach of the London M25 Orbital from Junction 10 or Junction 11

We strongly recommend using an internet based route finder with our postcode KT10 8AN  to work out exact journey details to get to Esher, as we are all bike riders here at Esher Shore we may not be able to give you any useful directions for driving !
